ВНЕШНИЙ ВИД:
Хорошо сбалансированный, крепкий, длинношерстный.
 
ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКИ:
Веселый и уверенный (напористый).
 
ХАРАКТЕР:
Бдительный, уравновешенный, но недоверчив с чужими.
 
ГОЛОВКА и ЧЕРЕП:
С роскошной объемной шерсть, ниспадающей и закрывающей глаза, с длинными усами и бородой. Череп довольно узкий, плавно скругленный за глазами, почти плоский, никогда не выпуклый и тем более не яблоко подобный. Морода прямая. Мочка носа черная. Морда приблизительно 4 cm.(11/2 ins), но не квадратная; длина от кончика носа примерно равна 1/3 длины головы (черепа)
 
ГЛАЗА:
Темный. Среднего размера, прямо посажены, овальные, не большие и не маленькие и не глубоко погруженные. Ни снизу, ни сверху белок не должен быть виден.
 
УШИ:
Висячие, хорошо обросшие.
 
РОТ:
Верхние резцы наружной стороной тесно соприкасаются с внутренней стороной нижних, то есть - прикус "обратные ножницы" (реверс). Резцы расположены широко и линия их расположения прямая на сколько это возможно. Полная зубная формула желательна. .
 
ШЕЯ:
Сильная и хорошо изогнута.
 
ПЕРЕДНИЕ КОНЕЧНОСТИ:
Лопатки косо паставленные. Передние ноги прямые, полностью обросшие шерстью.
 
ТЕЛО:
Длина тела большее чем высота в холке.
Сбалансировано и компактно.
Спина:
Прямая. Поясница:
Сильная. Грудь:
Ребра хорошо изогнуты направлены назад.
 
ЗАДНИЕ КОНЕЧНОСТИ:
Хорошо развиты с хорошими мышцами. Хорошие углы. Полностью покрыты густой длинной шерстью. Скакательные суставы при осмотре сзади параллельны и не должны быть сближены.
 
ЛАПЫ:
Округлые, кошачьи с крепкими подушечками. Полностью заросшие шерстью.
 
ДВИЖЕНИЯ:
Свободные и легкие.
 
ХВОСТ:
Высоко поставлен, несется закинутым на спину, но не подобно ручке горшка. Часто на конце хвоста есть изгиб (kink) . Покрыт украшающей длинной шерстью.
 
ШЕРСТЬ:
Превосходная шерсть: длинная, тяжелая, прямая, не мягкая и не шелковистый. Подшерсток умеренный.
 
ЦВЕТ:
Золотой, песочный, медовый, темно серый с проседью, синевато-серый, дымчатый, черный, парти-колор, белый или коричневый (бурый). Все одинаково приемлемый.
 
РАЗМЕР:
Идеальная высота: 25.4 cm (10 ins) в холке для кобелей; суки, слегка меньшие.
 
ОШИБКИ:
Любой недостаток должен оцениваться как незначительный или серьезный в степени пропорциональной степени отклонения от нормы сохранения внешних и жизненно-необходимых качеств собаки.
 
Любая собака, имеющая явно физические или психические отклонения должна быть дисквалифицирована.
 
ОБРАТИТЕ ВНИМАНИЕ:
Кобели должны иметь два развитых семенника, полностью опущенных в мошонку.

Heavy head furnishings with good fall over the eyes, good whiskers and beard. Skull moderately narrow, falling away behind the eyes, not quite flat, but not domed or apple-headed. Straight foreface with medium stop. Nose black. Muzzle about 4 cm (11/2 ins), but not square; length from tip of nose roughly one third total length from nose to back of skull.
 
EYES:
Dark. Medium size, frontally placed, oval, neither large, nor small and sunk. No white showing at base or top.
 
EARS:
Pendant, heavily feathered.
MOUTH:
 
Upper incisors close just behind lower, i.e. reverse scissor bite. Incisors in a broad and as straight a line as possible. Full dentition desirable.
 
NECK:
Strong and well arched.
 
FOREQUARTERS:
Shoulders well laid back. Forelegs straight, heavily furnished with hair.
 
BODY:
Length from point of shoulders to point of buttocks greater than height at withers. Balanced and compact.

Well developed with good muscle. Good angulation. Heavily furnished with hair. Hocks when viewed from behind parallel and not too close together.

Free and jaunty.
 
TAIL:
High set, carried well over back but not like a pot hook. Often a kink at end. Well feathered.

Top coat long, heavy, straight, hard neither wooly nor silky. Moderate undercoat.
 
COLOUR:
Golden, sandy, honey, dark grizzle, slate, smoke, black, parti-colour, white or brown. All equally acceptable.
 
SIZE:
Ideal height: 25.4 cm (10 ins) at shoulder for dogs; bitches slightly smaller.
 

 
FAULTS:
Any departure from the foregoing points should be considered a fault and the seriousness with which the fault should be regarded should be in exact proportion to its degree and its effect upon the health and welfare of the dog.
Any dog clearly showing physical or behavioural abnormalities shall be disqualified.
NOTE :
Male animals should have two apparently testicles fully descended into the scrotum.

Skull moderately narrow, falling away behind the eyes in a marked degree; not quite flat, but not domed or apple shaped; Straight foreface, with medium stop. Nose black. Muzzle about 1 1/2 inches long, but not square; the length from tip of nose to be roughly one-third the total length from nose to back of skull.
 
Eyes
Dark, medium sized eyes to be frontally placed, not large or full, or small and sunk. No white showing at base or top of eye.
 
Ears
Pendant, heavily feathered. Dark tips an asset.
 
Mouth
Upper incisors should close just inside the lower, i.e., a reverse scissor bite. Incisors should be nearly in a straight line. Full dentition is desirable.
 
Neck
Strong, well covered with a dense mane which is more pronounced in dogs than in bitches.
 
Forequarters
Shoulders should be well laid back. Forelegs straight, heavily furnished with hair.
 
Body

Skull moderately narrow, falling away behind the eyes in a marked degree; not quite flat, but not domed or apple shaped; straight foreface of fair length. Nose black, about 1 1/2 inches long, or the length from tip of nose to eye to be roughly one third of the total length from nose to back of skull.
 
Eyes
Dark, not large and full or small and sunk.
 
Ears
Pendant, heavily feathered. Dark tips an asset.
 
Mouth
Should be level. but slightly undershot is preferable.to overshot. Muzzle of medium length; a square muzzle is objectionable.
 
Neck
Strong, well covered with a mane which is more pronounced in dogs than bitches.

Skull narrow, falling away behind the eyes in a marked degree; not quite flat, but not domed or apple shaped; straight foreface of fair length. Nose black, about 1 1/2 inches long, or the length from tip of nose to eye to be roughly about one third of the total length from nose to back of skull.
 
Eyes
Dark brown, neither very large and full, nor very small and sunk.
 
Ears
Pendant, heavily feathered. Dark tips an asset.
 
Mouth
Level. Otherwise slightly undershot preferable. An overshot mouth is undesirable. Muzzle of medium length; a square muzzle is objectionable. A dark beard is an asset.
 
Neck
Strong, well covered with a mane which is more pronounced in dogs than bitches.
 
Forequarters
 
Forelegs straight, heavily furnished with hair.
 
Body
